Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. The climate is desert like with a very high seasonal temperature variation. Rainfall is seldom and does not last very long, it occurs more so in the winter months. Winter months are more tolerable and have a daytime temperature of approximately 25 degrees Celsius.
